Welcome Calvin Michael!

Everyone meet my beautiful new nephew, Calvin Michael Hummel! Born March 3rd at 3:55am, a little skinny guy at 6lbs 5oz and 20in long. Poor thing has a little tear in his lung (fairly common) and will be in the NICU for a couple days but other than that both mom and baby are doing well! The tear should heal on its own. 

I cannot wait until I get to snuggle and hold the little guy, only 17 more days but who's counting? (me, im counting. Every hour) Anyone who sees him before me is asked to please give an extra kiss or squeeze to him from me.

In addition to baby excitement I also have visitor excitement! My boyfriend Bobby and our friends Jacob and Tess are visiting me this week and are flying in tonight. Looks like we will have some baby birth to celebrate :) And of course I'll have loads to blog about after their trip.

Want to laugh at something? I tried, and eventually succeeded, at rotating my mattress this past weekend. At one point I got stuck and thought to myself, "this is it, this is how they'll find me when I start to smell enough".
